Installation Steps

Helpful instructions for your installer

Tools needed:

Hammer, drill, wrench, WD40, wire splicer, electrical tape, and two to four workers.

Step 1

  • Center kiosk’s cast aluminum base tray onto cement pad and mark holes in the four corners.

Step 2

  • Drill holes with a concrete bit that corresponds to the size of the (4) provided thunderbolts.

Step 3

  • Hammer thunderbolts into holes and use a 3/4″ wrench to tighten until snug.

Step 4

  • Spray WD40 on receiving thread and then stand kiosk into base tray.

Step 5

  • Lean kiosk so that your Romex electrical wiring can be snaked up through the center hole that runs to the top of the kiosk. Spray WD40 onto the threaded aluminum pipe and insert pipe into center hole from the top of the kiosk. Stand kiosk upright and carefully align and hand tighten to the base being very careful not to strip the threads.

Step 6

  • Have a licensed electrician attach Romex wire to the junction box at the top.

Step 7

  • Each locking cabinet has it’s own on/off switch. Check that they are all in the on position.

Step 8

  • With the lights all properly lit, place the roof onto the kiosk.

Step 9

  • Thread the decorative metal finial onto the pipe to secure roof.

Step 10

  • Lastly, make sure the (8) provided keys are put in a safe place and that all appropriate personnel are made aware of their location.
